About Our Parish
You Are Sincerely Welcome
Whoever you are, and wherever you have come from, there is a place for you here.
This is Mount of Divine Restoration, a home for divine encounter, where God is at work to perfect and transform lives. We believe you are here for a reason. You are valued by the Lord, and He has a purpose for you. He has placed gifts within you, and He longs to see them grow.
So come and worship with us. Come and work in His vineyard. We are one big family, held together in love and rooted in the word of God, and we have been waiting for you. Ayo ni o. There is joy here.
Our Tradition
We are a praying people. Our name means owners of prayer, and for a hundred years that has been our way, to seek God earnestly in white garment, in prayer, in fasting, and in praise.
The Cherubim and Seraphim movement was born in Nigeria in 1925, when God moved through the evangelist Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase, known to the faithful as Baba Aladura. What began as a small band of prayer in Lagos has since spread across Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
Our own Movement Church, Ayo Ni O, grew from this same root, carrying the tradition to congregations worldwide, and now here to Randallstown. When you worship with us, you join a family of the faithful that spans a century, three continents, and countless answered prayers, all of us still waiting on the Holy Spirit together.
What We Believe
1. We believe that God is one and has no equal, the Creator of the universe.
2. We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
3. We believe that men are saved by grace, and not by the works of their hands.
4. We believe that God's redemptive work led the Christian Church.
5. We believe that Christ has commissioned the Church to go into the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe His commandments.
6. We believe in baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper.
7. We believe in the institution of marriage.
8. We believe that the State is ordained of God to maintain law and order.
9. We believe in the Bible, hence we are a Bible and practising church.
Our Promise to You
When you join this church, you do not join alone.
We are building a family within the body of Christ, a place where every member is welcomed, and helped to grow in body, mind, and spirit. As you are cared for, you will learn to care for others, until we are all lifting one another up.
We want this church to be a refuge from a hard world, somewhere you can come for worship, for strength, for teaching, and for true fellowship. And we want you to serve, in the way that fits the gifts God gave you, never forced into a mould that was never meant for you. There is room here for exactly who you are.
Our Pastor
Our parish is led by Woli Taiwo Fapohunda, Special Apostle, who shepherds this congregation in worship, in teaching, and in prayer, and who would count it a joy to welcome you.
